1. Operator
This website and the Padwolf application are operated by Solid Grid Systems GmbH, Bundesallee 187, 10717 Berlin, Germany.
2. Audio Data Is Not Transmitted
All audio processing (loading samples onto pads, sequencing, swing, pitch shifting, export) happens locally in your browser. Your audio files are never transmitted to our servers or any third-party server. No personal audio data is processed by us.
3. Server Log Data
When you access our pages, our hosting provider automatically records technical information required for operation: IP address, request timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status, transferred data volume, referrer, and user agent (browser/OS). Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in stable operation and IT security). These logs are deleted or anonymized after no more than 14 days.
4. Website Analytics
Where enabled, we use a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool that we self-host. It collects anonymous, aggregated page-view data (URL, referrer, browser, OS, country, screen size) and anonymous usage events that tell us whether the beat maker works — for example that a kit was loaded, that playback was started, or that an export finished or failed. These events carry only fixed technical values such as an export format or a coarse time range. They never contain file names, project names, audio, or anything you type. No cookies are set, no personal data is stored, and no cross-site tracking takes place. Data never leaves our infrastructure and is not shared with third parties.
5. No Tracking Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Technically necessary local storage may be used to retain user preferences (e.g. dark/light mode). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
6. Microphone Access (Recording Feature)
If you use the recording feature, your browser will ask for microphone permission. The recording itself stays inside the browser tab and is not transmitted. You can revoke the permission at any time in your browser settings.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). In practice these rights mostly concern server log data. 8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect current legal requirements or changes to our service. The latest version applies to your next visit.
