How to Export Beats as MP3

Made a beat? Here's how to save it and share it with the world.

Exporting from Padwolf

1. Finish programming your beat 2. Click the Export button in the command bar 3. Choose your format: MP3, WAV, FLAC, or OGG 4. The file downloads to your device Encoding happens locally on your device — nothing is uploaded.

Choosing the Right Format

MP3: Best for sharing, sending to collaborators, posting online. Small file size. Use this 90% of the time. WAV: Best for importing into a DAW for further production. Full quality, no compression. Use this when you're not done with the beat. FLAC: Best for archiving finished beats at full quality. Smaller than WAV but lossless. OGG: Best for web use where MP3 isn't ideal. Good quality at small sizes.

What Gets Exported?

Padwolf exports each pad's audio with its pitch, volume, and start/end settings baked in. The export captures what you hear — all your tweaks are applied to the final file. The exported file is a mixdown of your beat, ready to play in any audio player or import into any DAW.
